Locally owned and operated
Current owner Darren has worked at the workshop for over 30 years. After several name changes, owners, years of experience and hard work, Darren and his wife Linda took over the business in 2012. Since taking over, they have expanded the workshop into the building next door, so they can provide all the repairs and maintenance their customers require.
Widely respected workshop
Corson Tyres is trusted by customers and many local bodies. In 2014 and 2017, they were nominated for the TSB Bank Topshop Awards, a renowned community competition that recognises great service. At the shop, we have five staff members and a receptionist, who have wide ranging experience in the industry.
Proud member of the community
An active member of the New Plymouth community, we have provided sponsorship for many local sports groups, such as the New Plymouth Old Boys (NPOB) Cricket Club, NPOB Rugby Club, Bell Block Rugby Club and Marist Rugby League. We have also provided sponsorship for numerous charity events and competitions at Sports Taranaki, the Mokau Fishing Club and others.
